How exciting! Last Saturday on the beach in Destin, Sean asked Libba to marry him. Miriam and I had spent the morning with Libba. We were there at the same time with Paul's family. Sean 'rested' while we played at the pool and then ate lunch with the friendliest waitress EVER at Mango's. (David...same terrible girl that was there when we went last month, the really pretty one:) She's moved up from hostessing. Has to be because of her incredible people skills.) Anyway, it turns out that Sean was on the phone with one of those pilots that flies the banners on the beach. He had it all planned for the guy to fly a "Libba, will you marry me?" banner, but the guy backed out last minute. It didn't matter. Sean proposed to Libba in such a special way and Paul and I were so lucky to see them later that night. Libba was "glowing", as Paul said. Sean was happy and really excited about hearing about the $12K dues to get to be Gaye's son-in-law...payable to Paul of course.
We are so happy for them and hope they hurry up and get married. Libba has nicely told me that I can't get pregnant again until after her wedding. Paul hopes they have a nice long engagement!
