My sweet friend, Amy, made me the coolest CD with all this old school Catholic music on it: "One Bread, One Body", "Be Not Afraid", etc. It also has some really cool enya songs...but, anyway.
There is one song called, "We are One Body." Mom said it's a lifeteen song, but I never really went to those masses. LifeTeen came along during my lapse-Catholic-my-mom-can't-make-me-go-anymore phase. I'm over that now and totally in love with my church again...but, anyway.
Miriam loves this song. She will sit in her seat and yell for "Jeez-us Moose-IC" and I know just which songs she wants. I put it on and she sings like she is part of the choir. It is a pure joy.
On our way back from Jackson the other week, we were singing for the fifth time at the top of our lungs. I had a real moment with God. Really intentional about thanking God for the life I've been given and the special child that I'm raising. It was a cool moment. Then a car passed with the tag that read, "SNG4GOD"
It was really freaky, in a God way.
