New Words

Miriam is talking like crazy. As the nursery worker told me today, "She's very verbal." How was I supposed to take that?

New words/phrases:
"I coming" -- I'm coming

"R U" -- Where are you? like when she is looking for her Lovey. She loses it on purpose so she can search for it

"I got it" -- when she finds Lovey

"Lah-bee" -- what she calls Lovey, and says it with almost an addicts tone...like she finally got her fix. It's pretty funny.

"Touch it" -- When you are holding her and she wants to touch something up higher

"Git it" -- Get it: telling you to get something that is higher than she can reach

"Bye-Bye TB" -- when we leave a room, she has to say goodbye to the things in it, TB (TV), Elmo, Toys, kids...whatever, she is saying Bye-Bye to it.

"Old you" -- Hold you...when she wants you to pick her up.

and my FAVORITE: "I saw-we" -- 'I'm sorry': It is beyond precious the way she says it, the tone and look on her face. She couldn't be cuter. Sometimes I make up something that she did wrong, just so I can hear it. Is that wrong? Should I say I'm sorry?

and her Favorite word: "No"
so many different variations, annunciations, tones...this word can mean so many things and it is driving me crazy.

Those are the latest. I think it's pretty good for 18 months old.
