Day one of our blog. I'm the one who suggested blogging to Stephanie and I've been too lazy (or busy) to do one for our family. So, we'll give it a shot. Main reason I'm doing this is to keep track of all the new and fun things that Miriam is doing. For her and for us. Also, most of our family lives away. So, this is a way for them to know the daily events (or as often as I can) of our lives. Paul said he would help and that may have to wait until the Regions Golf Tournament is over...then I will hold him to it.
We've had a fun and lazy morning. Lazy meaning, haven't done much housework. Not lazy, meaning inactive. We've been all over the place. She did exercises with me. Miriam's really good at pilates! She follows directions really well...laid next to me and lifted her legs one at a time and touched her toes. It was precious. She even has on a yoga/pilates type outfit: grey onesie (the one David had made to let us know his and Rachel's good news, "Can't wait to meet my cousin MIRIAM"), black yoga pants and a cutie ponytail in the back. We've been counting like crazy. I think she practiced a lot this weekend at her Bebe's. "Un, Tooooo, Tee, Bore, Pie" (Miriam doesn't do "F"s) She really counts, too...not, just repeating me. She will take books off the shelf and count as she goes. Counted her grape pieces at breakfast and her goldfish at snack time. I'm amazed she can understand the concept at 16 months? Or maybe that is normal? I just didn't knew kids could learn this fast. We are going to Costco this afternoon...her favorite. She gets lots of attention from people and gets snacks on every aisle. Who wouldn't love it.
Eventually, I'll figure out pictures so you can see how she is growing. She is just so tall!!!
The blog will get better, but this was Ok for a first effort.
